About Ricky Twotins

An experimental songwriter crafting beats and rhythms that pulse through techno, trance, hardcore, and house music scenes. Ricky Twotins (2Tins) stands at the pulsating intersection of raw, guitar-driven song writing and the cutting edge of music technology, mixed with a lot of social commentary. Twotins combines the visceral power of guitar work and deeply personal lyrics with the algorithmic precision of modern electronic and DAW production from his home set up.

Born in Hammersmith, London, the Twotins family travelled across the world which meant he was raised in places such as Belgium, India, Switzerland and Nigeria. He has lived in Norwich on and off for decades.

His musical journey started in his teenage years when busking across Europe and playing in Irish Trad bands.

Twotins is closely associated with the New Traveller community and a veteran of the Free Party Scene of the 80's and 90's.

His other job involves driving a Telehandler on construction sites or teaching others to drive them.

He plays a number of instruments but sings...."badly".
